A local cafe has agreed to show 3 fractal pieces done by yours truly before Xmas and into the new year. I've been asked to work with "water and the great lakes" as inspiration somehow (whatever that means, but OK). Essentially I have about a week to have 3 pieces completed along that theme and ready for printing and hopefully, sale. I don't think my work is good enough, but they do and I suppose that's what counts, I am not going to argue with them.
Basically, the owner of the cafe has seen my traditional work (abstract, paint - haven't posted any here but I may, eventually), found out I was playing with new media, was interested, saw examples of my fractals and now here I am. Her sister has the same medical condition I do, Fibromyalgia, so she is also interested in promoting awareness of the condition and its effect on the lives of the people afflicted with it. A very worthy cause, if you ask me.
So anyway, I was using this as a diversion and time waster but now it's quickly turned into work! I'm busting my ass to meet the deadline, hopefully I should be able to meet it and do something that's actually worth printing.
I'm very tired, sore, getting sick of those triangles and apo 2.03b is still sort of busted so I'm switching between it and 2.02 to make up for some of the missing features. If I manage to pull this off I could really use the $$$ for Xmas (and in general) though, so I will manage. Being a bit more sickly than usual is not helping much, but again, I will manage.

Sorry to hear that your not feeling well! Hope you will feel better later on!
Thanks for the well wishes too, it's appreciated.
Is Fibromyalgia similar to CFS?
Yes, Fibromyalgia is very similar to CFS. As far as I know the main difference is that the primary symptom with FMS is pain, where with CFS it's fatigue. There are other differences but they are very similar, and generally people with either problem have symptoms of both conditions and they can overlap. I was originally diagnosed with CFS, but the diagnosis was changed to FMS with some more testing and stuff because I fit the criteria for it better. They may even be the same thing, there's a lLOT the research hasn't answered yet.
Its a pity you've lost your arms, legs, hair
I hope you get better & that all goes well
(btw, thanks for the fav!!)
thanks
