Life

Journal Entry: Sun Nov 12, 2006, 9:06 AM
Sorry for my absence around here lately if anyonme is actually concerned or thinks I'm snubbing them, I have a lot of things going on all at once and don't really have a lot of energy for...  anything.  I have some nasty form of inflammatory arthritis, I'm almost constantly in flare but every once in a while it hits me like a ton of bricks and leaves me really grumpy, in pain and exhausted.  I haven't even been able to work on any artwork really, just sitting and clicking with my mouse hurts and I can't really concentrate on it.  Sometimes things that aren't at the top of my priority list have to be pushed aside for a while.  I'm going back on some prednisone next week so I should be much better soon.  :strong:  Corticosteroids are great but they have some realy nasty long term side effects so I can't take them too often.

I also have a bunch of other stuff going on, my doctor has just given me permission to get back to school at least part time so I'm really rushing to try and get everything done and go back for the Winter term in January if I can.  On top of that I'm working on disability paperwork; a lot of people have told me I'm lucky to not work and get support for things I need but I think it was actually much easier when I was working full time and paying for everything myself.  Of course I had more energy and not much pain at all so that might be it. ;p

Some good news though, I'm flying out on the 23rd for a 2 week vacation visiting my grandparents in Florida!    I'm also busy because planning that is taking some time.  I'm going to spend some time visiting Mickey at Disney World.  Even at 22 and after going there a bunch of times, it's still great fun!  Especially a couple of weeks before Xmas because the weather is usually nice and warm, the parks are almost deserted and you get to see all of the fun decorations and Xmas shows.  It's a bit more work getting there this time because I have to make sure I'm stocked up on medications, arrange for special accomodations for the flight, rent a scooter so I can actually get around the parks, etc. but once I'm there I plan to have an excellent time.

:sun: :relax:

More good news: my cat killed that yucky mouse!

I have decided that pink is more sexy than orange.

Inflammatory arthritis you too know, the weather before the Weather Channel. Yeah it sucks!. I have it in certain place's in my back.

I take some nice Oxycodone 20MG and Percocets 325MG with a dash of Carisoprol (SOMA) 350MG to cut down on the cramps.

I go in the November 20th to get work done on my Carpel Tunnel, I no not as bad as Arthritis. You probly take numb hands over arthritis any day.

You are defiently in my thoughts and prayers.
