Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

(I've been looking for an excuse to use the word Hooray since last night)....

Anyway, I just woke up and found a lot more favs and stuff in my message centre than I usually have so being naturally curious I had to investigate.

Uhh, so yeah....I was looking around at stuff trying to figure out wtf was going on and generally browsing. Drinking tea again because it's morning and I need my tea to be able to function at all, and took a look at the Unknown Artists - February Feature (Digital Art) in hot topics [link]

Hot liquids, clumsiness and surprises early in the morning aren't safe! This site is going to kill me one day. I spilled boiling hot tea all over myself this time, just 2 days after I almost choked to death on it.

I'm really happy about the feature even if it did almost kill me, it totally made my day. Check it out if you haven't seen it already, there is some truly fucking amazing work on there (far better than mine really).

What I do with my tea, I just let it cool down to almost room temperature. So I can still sip and enjoy drinking it. Do you add sugar to your tea? Me, I am used to not adding sugar anymore.

No I'm not allowed much white sugar at all so I just have a tiny bit of honey.

Very restricted diet, kind of annoying but it's amazing how much better you feel when you stop eating things that aren't good for you.

We are bit the same. I don't use any sugar anymore. Honey is the best natural sweetener!
Honey is the one I add to my tea when I need a sweet tasting tea drink.
