Eeeeeeeeeeeeeep!

Journal Entry: Wed Nov 8, 2006, 8:44 PM
My cat's running around trying to catch a field mouse!  I can barely walk tonight, nevermind trying to help catch it! :cries: I hate mice in my house and I'm home by myself so I've turned into a useless, horrified priss! :fear:

What do I do?  Maybe she'll kill it if I just leave her? I hate hurting animals but... :fear:

I have decided that pink is more sexy than orange.

Thanks to `newklear for his CSS tutorial: [link]

go and get those plastic trays with sticky glue on them and put 1 hershys kiss on it - un-wrapped of course- and the little guy will go and get it and get stuck. you can just wrap him in a bag and toss it out or whatever. :) Of course you will have to pick the tray up or at least use a broom to push it into a plastic bag or paper bag. Probably not plague infested but gross anyhow  Just remember to wash your hands! And at least its only a feild mouse!!!!!!

good luck!

That's a good idea, I was trying to think of a way to trap it without killing it. I know it would be unlikely to have plague here and it's very small but you're right, still yucky. :) I think I could handle picking the tray up if it's stuck.

Yea, I had one of those one time too and it was icky. The WORST part about it was that I could hear it moving around at night etc...which was the grossest part! The choco and the tray worked like a charm and the bugger was out within a 1/2 hour! Just be careful picking up the tray because they will try to scratch you rather than biting, better to use a broom and sweep them in :) The bad thing about the traps are that the poor buggers get mushed and or de-legged or de-capitated and then you have to deal with that mess! :(

I know that your home alone...perhaps try realesing it a little bit further [far far away] from your place. :D

Perhaps Dr. DoLittle would help you to try to talk to that mouse
never to venture in your homefront again. :giggle:

Yeah that's a good idea, I'm going to try and trap it because I don't know where it is now.

KILL IT I don't like harming living things, but it's in your house. Yikes.............

I don't like stuff like that in my house either. Or bugs or spiders, nothing yucky. :lmao: Pet mice and lab mice can be cute but not wild, possibly diseased and flea infested ones. :(
